For those of you who don’t wish to read through it all, the gist of it is that a man named Shōji Sakai was sentenced to a 1 year prison term in combination with a 3 year suspended sentence for sharing illegal anime. Sakai used a file sharing program called ‘Winny’ in order to share copies of his unauthorized anime.

Recently, I’ve hit a slump in terms of my anime viewing. Maybe it’s because there aren’t any shows out there that interest me anymore, but I think it’s far more likely due to the fact that I simply haven’t had the time to sit down and thoroughly enjoy a series lately. Between university life and exams, I have pretty much figured out that it simply isn’t possible for me to regularly update a blog by myself. So from this point on, I will update this blog whenever I get the chance. You probably won’t find episode-by-episode coverage of the latest series on here, there are plenty of other blogs for that, but please check back every so often as I hope to have new content posted at least bi-weekly.
